I managed to get a 3960X this afternoon off of Newegg. That came in stock and out of stock within like 5 minutes. It's crazy how few units they have.

Well some DDR4 cpu's such as the 9900k can use DDR3. So maybe Zen4 will work with both DDR4 and DDR5.
