That seems to be very conservative statistics, I have a 3900X I am able to get an all core overclock manually of 4.325 GHZ with full stability with about 1.35 cpu voltage. My everyday overclock is 4.25 GHZ with 1.275 volts. I see similar stories from quite a few users. I do not believe the 3950X with water cooling will clock at a lower frequency on all cores, since it is binned to have a boost frequency of 4.7 GHZ on 1 core. I believe close to 50% will overclock with good cooling to 4.325 GHZ on all 16 cores.

Technology is NOT a liberator . Whom technology serves is a class question.
Technology wielded by the capitalist class benefits only the exploiters.
Technology wielded by the working class will serve ALL Humanity.

Silicon Lottery is conservative. Possible that OC could be greater with better cooling. Binned 3950x will be available soon, but not many will be available.

lol, crappy clocks, as usual. 25% extra clockspeed out of Intel chips smashes the performance gap in IPC. And don't forget not to install any of that RGB stuff that messes with SPD

LOL at post defending Intel. Single core speed and what 5% gaming lead over AMD, is that all Intel has left to hang on to?

Many of us have watched several reviews by now to know AMD destroyed Intel in most tests. Gamers Nexus even reported AMD sales 9-to-1 over Intel.

Good try trolling though, made me laugh.

Gaming (1/2020): 3950X, 1080 Ti, etc.
HTPC (6/2016): 6700K, 1080, etc.

Are you suggesting we take this guy serious? He isn't qualified to be posting advice if he can't think to disable SPD read in bios.

Are you a clown or somthing?

Not really sure what Intel does belongs In a thread talking about binned AMD chips...

And what you just posted is quite hilarious considering the and part is dirt cheap and has decent integrated graphics.

Are you trying to compensate for some purchase decision of yours? Are you just a shill?

The 3950x is a consumer priced workstation CPU, any usage that doesn't take advantage of that is pointless.

I guess you can be mad AMD is at near IPC parity with Intel while also providing more cores, threads and versatility at nearly the same price.

You have 218 posts and looking through your history, it's pretty clear you aren't one to respect so cheers to you mate.
