Well both for AMD and Intel he goes in after the design is already set in place. Not much he can do.

If that's true then this GPU is probably going to be his last.

Koduri has been selling smoke and mirrors since forever. Even Ryan Shrout got hired at Intel. I don't think it means much anymore.

The consumer GPU market is very unforgiving, especially now. People have bought Nvidia GPU's over AMD ones even if the AMD version is better and cheaper. If the Intel GPU isn't straight up better than the Nvidia competitor, then forget it. Also, if rumors of driver issues start to surface, then also forget it. They have to hit the ground running with a fully mature, highly competitive product at a great price or they will just sink. Think about how difficult it would be to convince people to buy an Intel GPU over an Nvidia GPU. I can't imagine Intel creating something as golden as a 1080Ti, like ever. Even AMD can't do it and they've been making GPU's forever. I just think Nvidia will kick them right in the nuts.

They already choose Intel over Nvidia in 60% of laptops. That's where AMD can gain significant ground, as soon as Ryzen2 mobile gets here. Intel can't meet demand for 10nm either so the stage is set.

5700xt for all intents and purposes is keeping pace with 1080ti fine these days. soo big navi will blow it outta the water. AMD has another massive year coming in 2020, most of the CPU cards have been played, but they've still gotta drop big navi & the new consoles which i'm sure this'll hurt your eyes but... the new consoles? at least as fast as 1080ti.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
