[CRN] Intel Hires Ex-AMD Silicon Design Exec To Lead Discrete GPU Efforts

https://www.crn.com/news/components-...te-gpu-efforts

Quote:
Intel has hired away a former AMD silicon design executive to lead the chipmaker's discrete GPU efforts ahead of the new product line's expected 2020 debut.
Intel really trying to get this GPU sorted out it seems, glad that they are not giving up again with the rumors things aren't going well.

Not sure what this means for AMD.

^ exactly what I am thinking. Hopefully this benefits consumers the most. More choice options can't be too bad of a thing when it comes to performance GPUs.

I read Koduri might be headed to the chopping block.
