My monitor was advertised as 1ms, but in reality it's 5ms. You cannot trust anything they say.
In this case, though, the sub-millisecond response times on LG OLED panels for 90% transitions are factual. 100% transitions are a little over a millisecond, but that's not the standard by which they measure nowadays.
Think the smallest we'll get is 40 or 43". Haven't seen any consumer 4K TV's released in the last 5+ years that were below 40". An sizes below 40" and they're officially in the PC monitor family. I could be wrong with some Chinese knock-offs or cheap Walmart brands I've never heard of before. One recent exception was the (recent) Samsung 32" Q50R but I think that ended up as a flop as you could get a better Samsung Q 40/43" TV for the same price or even cheaper. Most consumers are stupid cows but they aren't that stupid to pay more for less.
i would have to agree, I highly doubt they will go under 40"
RTX 2080ti Owners Club
32GB Corsair Dominator
specially with this officially thrashed economy. they might not even release it now, or push it back 3-6 more months.
They're already shipping the 55" and 65" versions (not sure about available quantities). Don't see why they would delay the 48". A few sales are better than none, and the TVs are probably being assembled right this moment anyway.

and home technology is at its highest demand ever right now.
so much so newegg, TigerDirect, & the like are selling out of 3 gen old refurb OEMs.
the sales coming from this pandemic are bigger than the holidays according to some franchises.
I'd love to use it being in stock @ best buy as an excuse to get out of the house
I would wait till you can buy rigs featuring 3950X and 2080TI's for super cheap (say less than 1000usd). It's going to happen. People that buy certain stuff may regret it now as the economy might see people unload the high end stuff and the flood will result in prices dropping to bargain basement.
It might be the best way to get people to buy TV's, Ryzen 4000, Ryzen 4000 Laptops and even Big Navi/3000 series GPU's. Clear up all the inventory of old stuff while you can then release the new products.
