Think the smallest we'll get is 40 or 43". Haven't seen any consumer 4K TV's released in the last 5+ years that were below 40". An sizes below 40" and they're officially in the PC monitor family. I could be wrong with some Chinese knock-offs or cheap Walmart brands I've never heard of before. One recent exception was the (recent) Samsung 32" Q50R but I think that ended up as a flop as you could get a better Samsung Q 40/43" TV for the same price or even cheaper. Most consumers are stupid cows but they aren't that stupid to pay more for less.

LG OLED C9 55" HDR G-Sync 4K 60hz or 1440p 120hz (Future 4K 120hz)
Intel Core i9-9900KS 8C/16T @ 5.2 Ghz (all cores) + Asus 360mm AIO
2x SLI EVGA GeForce RTX 2080Ti FTW3 Hybrid 120mm AIO GPU's
Asus ROG Maximus XI Apex Z390 LGA1151 ATX Motherboard
G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3733 Mhz CL16 Memory
Samsung 970 Pro 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 2280 SSD Hard Drive
Asus ROG Thor 1200 Watt 80-Plus Platinum Modular ATX Power Supply

dell released a 30 inch OLED that no one purchased too

I'd be happy with something in the high 30s, low 40s.

I'm just gonna have to re-adjust to gaming on one screen & working on another. bfd.

warning random though -
I had google setup in some weird side by side viewing mode last night that I can't recreate now. The inactive windows would auto-resize along with the active screen being resized. From Side to side.

Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

48CX is a day 1 purchase for me. It's also being reported that the 2020 OLED's can run 4K/120Hz 4:2:0 on HDMI 2.0 while we wait for HDMI 2.1 GPUs.

GPU: TITAN RTX - 2175 MHz, liquid cooled
CPU: 9900K 5.4 GHz, liquid cooled
MB: ASUS Maximus XI Gene
RAM: G.Skill 16GB 4600 MHz
SSD: Intel Optane 905P - 960GB
DISPLAY: LG OLED 48CX

^^ same. I'm hoping someone with genuine day one access gets a pre-order setup.

been a long wait. I'm proud to say I've only gone thru 3 screens in the last 5 years. The refurb pro-art with no warranty was a major guh.

Well, that's too bad then. I'll check out the Q50R instead.

Edit: That Q50R isn't OLED. At this point I'd rather buy a 27GL850.

also gotta remember that these new consoles being HDMI 2.1 = GPUs finally getting it, and more TVs sporting it.

we're at the beginning of a new cycle

So can you order the 48" one right now? Also what about the HDMI 2.1? did they talk or announce when it will make the 4k @ 120hz work?
