I saw a gamer nexus video on this.
Most AIBs who have incorporated the necessary hardware standards won't have this issue. They will provide the bios and you can use it and still be within warranty. However, AIBs from MSI, for example have declined to provide the bios for their cheaper skus stating they will provide another sku that will have the new bios on it. In other words those cards didn't meet the standard of a stable oc were the memory bandwidth could reach 14gb/s. And had anyone bought one and tried to overclock those cards manually and had to rma it. They were, IMHO, fully prepared to deny those RMA's.

Therefore, those manufactures I would avoid at all cost. They simply got caught with their pants down provided inferior cards at standard MSRP.

And that video you mention was pure click bait. His complaint was that he didn't like having an updated bios that would boost the performance of the 5600xt. Therefore you shouldn't buy it. He never mentioned any solid, consistent and ongoing issues with the 5600xt.

It is for others to read and learn that nVidia drivers are not flawless.

Obviously they aren't flawless lol. And even if they were people would still report 'issues' that may not even be related to the drivers.

I'm glad your cards work for you. I've had so many AMD cards, 5670, 5850, 6850, 7970, 270, 280x, 290x, Fury. They all had some sort of flickering, stuttering, or driver crashing/instability issue. And judging by the AMD subreddit not much has changed.

well use some sense, you've been going around the forum telling everybody that amd drivers are bad sometimes they are, but nvidia drivers are too, your bias is leaking out a bit get some duck tape and patch it up.

Lmao okay dude. Anybody with a valid opinion based on their personal experience with multiple cards from both companies is 'biased'

Who is really remaining objective here

You might want to read that link, too. Black screen after installing the driver. WTH?

Both my R9 290s never had any and they were famous for black screen. Pay extra for what? To get black screen?

are you saying you're being objective? If yes that's ironic you don't see me going around on nvidia threads saying driver are bad and telling the same story repeatedly. kiss teeth please if you were objective why are you telling the same story in this thread? What's your goal here? To inform or mislead.
