It's a known issue, says it in the OP. Happens with a few older DX titles. People are using DXVK for a smoother experience.

All those games Bradley mentioned stuttered on nvidia cards, too, one time or another. Difference is, nvidia has a bigger driver team and quick to fix issues. But, like i said, all those games stuttered on nvidia. Imagine buying a 1200$ card to experience stutter.

The difference is that nVidia's cards do not switch frequency every millisecond. They downclock every 10 or 15 celsius degrees.

It does not matter if their's do not. They stuttered in the games mentioned.

This is nonsense is it? How so? Because I'm comparing the level of stuttering? Both cards ran the games mentioned above at a locked 60 FPS. The test was purely to compare stuttering. On Nvidia, there wasn't any at all. On AMD, the games were unplayable, and I've been using AMD GPU's since the days of ATi.

Intel Core i9 9900K HT 5GHz
GIGABYTE Z390 Ultra
Nvidia MSI Trio-X RTX 2080 Super
G-Skill Trident 2x8GB DDR4 4000MHz
Samsung EVO PLUS NVM.e 500GB
SeaSonic 1250W Gold
Tt Core-X71 + Custom Loop.

It does matter because users buying nVidia cards currently do not experience this issue. The solution is simple, just buy Vulkan titles. That's what I've been doing and haven't had any issues with my Radeon VII.

What issue? Stuttering issues?
