Heck yeah. Shaping up to be the new king of home server cases. 23 drive total capacity out of the box. More with mods or accessories.

100% beast.

Everyone will probably be hyping this but I'm frustrated with case designs....

See that FrAcTaL pattern stamped on the exhaust mount? That's awful for airflow, punch the hole out and use a wire grill for the best noise to airflow performance, many cases have done this in the past. A quick example of this can be seen on the Corsair AIR 540. Lian li noticed this recently with their Lancool 2, the aesthetic bar design performs worse than the typical honeycomb design so they said a future revision will go back to honeycomb fan mounts.

See those front fan mounts accepting both 140mm and 120mm? Those extra 120mm fan mounts are blocking your 140mm fans, noise and airflow will be worse. If you use 120mm fans you then have the 140mm fan mounts reducing the effectiveness because of air circulation. Cut the holes perfectly for one fan size and seal up the rest for the best efficiency. A quick example of this can be found on the $60 Cooler Master NR600.

These case manufacturers are sacrificing performance and noise levels in the name of aesthetics. Are you really going to be looking at fan mounts? Because you certainly will be listening to those louder more turbulent fans every day.

Wow great! now, am I seeing three video cards in the case? Why tho?!

Unless I missed something I was on the understanding that you can only connect two of the newer generation of video cards with proper drivers, am I correct?

It's possible to run up to 4x GPUs linked together in certain use cases. Don't recall if that was nVidia or AMD that offered the 4 card functionality.

And alternatively there is always the ability to run up to 16 (or more) GPU's to a single motherboard for something like distributed computing or crypto mining. Those cards would not be linked in SLI or Crossfire.

Workstation gpu's have no problems going beyond two gpu's, and since the system in question is also dual socket CPUs, it's safe to say it's a workstation set-up.

Now, here are two REAL questions:

1. What kind of sorcery outlet is running a dual socket 3 GPU rig and an, albeit smaller, stereo set up?

2. Is that a Gamecube controller?

A standard European Schuko is rated for 3680W (230V 16A).

The outlet is likely nothing special. For workstations at my old company we had orange colored outlets wired for 240V & 20A with each outlet on it's own circuit. Plenty of power for whatever you need.

It's likely an Xbox 360 controller. I have one on my desk and looking at an angle it appears similar.
