[TechSpot] The Mac Pro's $400 wheels don't have locks

Quote:
Apple’s reputation for charging ridiculously high prices for its products hasn’t been helped by the accessories for the Mac Pro and Pro Display XDR Monitor. In addition to charging $999 for the monitor’s stand and $199 for the VESA mount adaptor, the Mac Pro’s wheels cost $400. For that amount, you’d expect some pretty amazing wheels, but it seems they lack a basic feature: locks.

This is just funny. Apple is a ridiculous company sometimes... often

This doorstop image is Fake to be clear, but funny.

No locks to cut down on weight. Then it's easier to toss it out the window?

i'd disagree, but car examples are miserable, you troll. your car's wheels lock when you put it in park/gear & brake for the night. leaving it where you left it, so you can drive off in the AM.

whereas your mac with $400 wheels might roll away. luckily, it's kinda tethered to the desk.

The next version will contain something new and revolutionary, something that hasn't been used before and Apple will pioneer: wheel locks! Thanks Apple, you ar teh bestestest!

Remember when Apple said their users don't need copy/paste? Apple knows best, so bow down and just buy the next version in a few weeks.

Your car rolls around after parking? I hope you don't live in a hilly place like San Francisco.

But the locks on fancy wheel gen 2 will need a sold separately adapter to work.

It wasn't meant to come with them, whether it be $40 or $400 they didn't mean for it to come with locks.
