Death rate is at 2% when you get all the attention and healthcare, but if the entire healthcare is crippled and overwhelmed, alot more will die without care, medication and machine support or oxygen tank.

The most deadly thing about this virus is the ability to create more death by crippling healthcare system worldwide, alot other currently on machine support, cancer treatment or even diabetes will die. Even a simple dengue will kill. Car accident means its certain death, heck even a child labor without any supervision can kill.

Think far and big picture, there is no vaccine, which is why it causes worldwide panic.
Yep. Back off those overclocks, folks.

I don't expect announcement about the 3000 series, my idea of launch is also similar to yours. I expect paper launches myself. The tesla architecture can give us more little hints about what we can expect from the RTX card coming out though the tesla cards are different from gaming cards i know.

I wouldn't play it down. It's a much more effective than normal RNA virus. much more effective at infecting people and killing people than the last few scares. Most of those measure in way lower than 2-3%, which if true, we'll see about half that in the US... unless on the west coast :O another interesting bit of brewing news is the possibility of canine infection. both of my dogs were sick while we were all sick, so its peaking my interest to say the least to see that side of the story start to build.

I wanna be tested for the antibodies. i've never seen so many people sick at the same time, all with varying degrees of the exact same a-typical flu symptoms.

excited to see what'll eventually get shaved down into consumer GPUs.

Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

Usually they're not very different, Volta and Turing were a bit odd. I feel as though they weren't sure how to sell Volta to gamers so they created RT cores.

No one is in the mood to get expensive GPU nowaday, especially everything now crashes.

doubt it. stock already rebounded from wuhan scares too. AMD hopes to catch up to those prices, not bring them down, like they do here & there on the CPU side of things.

in fact, they're breaking 300 soon. get it before they're worth as much as samsung. That AI tech ensures their slot in the future. AMD could vanish tomorrow with very little real loss to science and progress. They've gotta keep working on fixing that for my portfolio's sake.

all the old guys at work love to say tech is over-valued. I agree, if its not tied to data hoarding or AI. the two need each other to build the future they dream of. NV pioneers the chips that run the AI that crunch the data the hoarders harvest. = big money NV going 5 figures status in 10-15 years.

Stock rebound is just a start, it will drop even more.

US just announced 5 death and more will be coming soon. Virus is spreading reaching 76 countries now and still increasing. China might see re-infection from importing their virus back.

Too early to decide for next 3-6 mths. I believe the price will drop, if not they can forget about selling anything. Retrenchment is happening now in alot of places.

Prices are not going to drop on the GPUs. If anything, this is going to see the repeat of 2013-2014 when mining boom didn't let the cards end up with the traditional consumers. Only this time the cards are not being produced entirely because the Chinese market hasn't resumed complete production since the new year.

#2 their debt is insane, even for a "diverse field" company. They cannot even afford to service the debt maintenance let alone make an actual dent in the debt itself. - Internet Stranger
