It seems to be. Control is, apparently, going to have it with an update. This is awesome news.

A PPI of 200 sounds great but on a cell phone 8 inches away from your face it's a pixelly nightmare

I follow my own basic rule for PPI:

300+ for phones
100+ for monitors
50+ for TVs

VR might need 800 PPI or higher to get rid of the screendoor effect

You are more conservative than I am. My rule is 500+ PPI for Phones, and the TV and PC monitor depends entirely on how close you are sitting to them.

I sit about 2.5 feet from my screen so [email protected] 32 inches looks good to me(137PPI). I do have to raise Window's scaling to 125% to read comfortably, though. If I have my glasses on I can read at 100% but not for hours at a time.

80s style exec guy @ work told me he plays World of tanks, in 4K surround, @ 24x3

must be gorgeous, tbh... but i'll sit an extra 6-12 inches back, and take the 3-4x higher FPS, thx. at least for now.

4K120 is revolution is aknocking

i think i'm @ 109 now? 3440x1440p? was @ 133? @ 4K34? idk. looks almost identical at the distance I sit. only time I really notice it is when working between lots of apps.

Did you say 3x24" monitors EACH at 4k? Wow, that's dense(for a desktop). That'd suck for me on certain apps that STILL don't scale well with windows.

yeah, i almost question the validity of the statement. getting that to run smooth in WoT would take some effort, and serious concessions. Those games were my shizz back in my 1080p n 1440p surround days. (powered by 2x GK110 titans)

he's definitely the kind of person to try to tell you someone else's story, as their own, in an attempt to level with you, in an attempt to get you to do something for them.

no, i still can't put your PST from your last job on a company device.

bye.
