Will be nice at $499. Also lol at 2080 premium for $1000. NVIDIA’s ridiculous pricing + 2018 performance. $499 with a $50-70 in losses or thereabout.

I hope we could run windows on it, [Dual boot] - it could be great "Corsair one" style mini PC[or Desktop Console].

This convinces me that the "2080ti killer" must exist after all and that they may actually even be prepared for the 3000 series. I've been sure they'd be their same old useless selves and release a slightly slower 2080ti competitor right before the 3080ti drops.
The 2080 is 12nm, this is 7nm EUV. This would probably be over a 600mmsq die on 12nm, maybe close to 700mmsq

There is no way this will be $1,000 US dollars. Most people would not buy it. especially with the way the global economy most likely will be come the end of this year

You should get an eye exam then.

Microsoft wants this console to make them money and the best way to do that is having a strong performer out of the gate.

Remember, they have two consoles... Anaconda & Lockheart.

A premium console coinciding along a more basic console has already been established.
I.E. Xbox One & Xbox One X.

If a beast console is coming out, it may not be accessible for most buyers. Or buyers may go for the premium. Either way, both consoles will be released. They'd shoot them selves in the foot at the costs people are talking about here. Whether it's $500 or $1000.

Hi,
Well if that follows all other ms examples they wouldn't sell it they would lease it through subscription and additional bloat fees/ games..

I guess the question of "why should I buy the new Xbox if I can just play the same games on PC?" has finally been answered. Instead of exclusives, the new console will simply be, without contest, the best possible value for gaming at 4K60.

Of course, I don't know exact pricing, but I doubt it'll be anywhere close to the sum of all parts for a comparable PC.

Of course they will be up to about mid-way through 2021. Then you will be able to build a comparable PC for less.
