No it doesn't as far as this discussion is concerned. Anything else you don't know?

people fail to realize how big of an industry corporate espionage is.

I deal with it often at work, when we hire on new company presidents, who show up with illegally obtained PSTs from their last employer, who's suing us under non-compete. N that's the bold faced attempts, the low key ones are nearly impossible to stop.

I wonder what tier of document management and security these corporations use. I mean, even our little insurance company employs a program that breaks files when people attempt to open them off domain. I suppose this is leagues apart though. As these people are genuinely intelligent and proficient users. we're dealing with Karens, Chads, and 80s guys.

I kept thinking PST meant paid sick time. But in context that doesn't make sense so now I'm just plain baffled. Unless you are talking about the MS outlook extension?

PST is TPS's cousin. PST is constantly jealous of TPS because TPS is always getting new coversheets.

Wait a half a second here - He's at a new company but brought his old email archives from his last employer with him? Are you serious?

incredibly common, specially in the executive/president tier. What's even more common are the non-compete based lawsuits that CEOs pay for, when they poach someone in this manner.

see, they're essentially overpaid fall guys for CEOs trying to spin up new entities. which more times than not requires lots of illegal/grey action to get started in.

"these emails can't go on our server for legal reasons"

k, then I can't touch the emails. bye!!!!
(read between the lines - you aren't paying me enough to ask me to do these kinda things)

Woah had no idea it was so common. They're doing what I've heard called "Playing 3d chess". Clever stuff.

And all of us with our ever increasing education are only increasing our value as a chess piece. Will always be stuck on the board until you learn to become a player.
