Needs dual channel ram to match a 3700x. The Asus only has 1 ram slot and 1 nvme slot?

Any webcam is better than no cam. No one wants to lug around an extra webcam they have to put on and off and plug in all the time. And the external webcams sold for desktops aren't always that small, often poor quality and now unavailable + overpriced because companies finally learned that WFH exists so everyone is buying webcams.

it is dual channel, one stick is soldered so if you get the 16gb you get 8gb soldered and 8gb stick if you get 32 you get 16gb soldered and 16gb stick.

And the nvme slot is stupid i know but its 14 inch and I know several 17 inch ones with a single slot.

Is it because it says [YouTube]? you can easily change it to [Hardware Unboxed]Ryzen 9 4900HS review, and its viable?

These results remind me of when Core 2 Dual released back in the day.

All the talk of the single NVMe slot reminds me of my old top tier Clevo - thing had 4x ram slots, 2x 2.5 HDD, & 2x NVMe slots in a 15.6 inch laptop body with a desktop socket & Z270 chipset. Though it did weigh north of 7 pounds and was 1.5" thick.

Wonder how these new Ryzen 4000 models are going to compete with the next gen desktop based Clevo's. No reason they couldn't have an AM4 socket laptop, which would put it a generation ahead of these due to the mobile year gap. Or in other words Clevo would have desktop Ryzen 4000 7nm+ chips while the traditional laptops are on first revision 7nm chips.

Here is one of the slightly older generation Clevo laptops with the desktop 9900K. Yeah that 9900K.... along with the mobile 2080 in a laptop. Nuclear reactor right there. https://xoticpc.com/collections/sage...levo-p750tm1-g

Even the budget Ryzen 5 models are going to be beasts. This is pretty exciting TBH.

The battery is going to add a little bit of weight to the total - More than likely still under 4 pounds without getting into exotic lightweight materials. Gonna be costly though.

That is definitely true..Hope to see some good Ryzen 5 laptops hit the market in a somewhat wholesome (in quality)package..cause up to now,the "mid range" AMD netbooks were seriously lacking in build quality..
