It wouldn't surprise me if Windows becomes a proprietory Linux distro.

Comparing VMWare with Windows? Sounds rather smart until you realise that VMWare isn't an OS, unless you mean ESXi.
Would you mind pointing out where he compared VMware to Windows? I see him comparing the entire WMware suite to the entire MS Suite which is both logical and correct.

What's a large server?

Again with the inaccurate definitions.

Is a dual or quad socket system with 512GB or RAM not a large server?

Or is it based on physical size, like 4U, 8U, what's large?

So now the comparison is limited only to operating systems?

The point is, there's plenty of Software from many vendors that is licensed on per core basis. Singling out or believing this is somehow a Microsoft centric behavior is just pure ignorance.

If they can deliver a low watt version for a Cheap B350 that is gathering dust in the garage? + it can make more Gittex than a 2300X and still can get close to RX 5500 or a GTX 1650 on less than 65 total watts. And for $200 or less? Oh yes just what my TV needs.

Primary: Crossover 27" 2560 x 1440, Crosshair VI, Ryzen 1600, Flair 2400, GTX 690. Secondary: MSI 890FX GD-70 R 2.0, FX-8350, HD 7790, Kingston 8 GB x 2, Western 1Tb hybrid, VisionTek 1000

plenty of white collar entities run on large onsite servers that run windows server. which is also why their security campaigns are a joke, specially when they don't even operate SUS & mandatory end point updating.

but clearly we're talking about some mythical top tier data center, and pretending its the only kind of server in the world.

Add me on Steam, same name
R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.
