Really nice job. Even though some have said their business isn't as hard hit as others - that doesn't mean that those other businesses aren't cutting pay, bonuses, staff - etc.

The company I work for has met it's H2 target already in April but cancelled our pay raises and are looking at furloughing staff while conveniently still giving raises to directors, etc

I'm one of the lucky few to work for an organization that runs pretty lean. So far, we're doing fine on income, and as long as it stays like that, my job will be safe.

Also, I'm one of the "lucky" few that actually was promoted during this mess. I have no idea why they saw fit to give me more money when the economy is so bad, but here we are.

Such a weird time... our company (small) is having some of it's best months in years, so we aren't qualifying for any of the government assistance stuff... but if this whole thing lasts much longer our projects will probably dry up come summer.

I expect top talent nvidia would consider poaching are kept under salary and not being fired/released/etc.
The people who are getting hit by the virus are mostly replaceable people.

Great job, Nvidia!
their shareholders are stoked too. $20 to $300 in 5 years. N went from ~$190 covid-low 2 months ago, n is back to nearly 300.

Who cares? This is not about Nvidia stock prices and what they will do to grow them. This is some fluff piece about Nvidia being so loving to their employees that they will sacrifice profits. They are not and will not, whatever you read,so let's not get it twisted eh?
