Meh, yet another refresh of a refresh of a refresh of a ... and no PCIe4 support from the CPUs. Lower DDR4 speeds than competition too.

And no review, which likely means no samples anyone has in hands, so it's a paper launch, great. Maybe the value will finally be a bit closer to competition. Though considering one again needs a damn new mobo... no thanks.

10/20 all core boost at stock of 4.8 GHz is pretty dope. These are great products on paper; the only problem is power consumption and heat output (though, really, we only care about the latter). If you have a watercooling, it's a non-issue, I suppose.

Now, the interesting part will be the benchmarks. It would be great if reviewers started comparing AMD and Intel with actually optimal setups.

Extra cores and threads at the top end compared to last year at the same price point. No complaints from me what-so ever.

At the low end AMD is still dominating, but at the high end of things I could see some promising results coming out of this new generation. So long as you can handle the additional heat and cooling needs of course.

Yep, same price with more cores.

By Built-in Benchmark Queen:
My 2.5 years old delidded 7980xe @ 4600mhz all core with 49ns memorylatency (4000c16 twekaed) is faster than 3950x max overclocked on water in every scenario. Pretty good for a ancient cpu
In gaming it has no chance vs my new 10900k @ 5400mhz and 4600c16 tweaked memory. ~35ns memorylatency.
