What happened to the Intel is the bestestestestest because they are king at 480p?

I haven't bought Intel in years for many reasons and this is one of them.

Some people just love that blue box and will buy Intel regardless.

Edit: I know a guy who buys Intel no matter what simply because Intel have the best gaming CPU: the KFC. He doesn't care what kind of cooling it requires or how much it costs, it's the bestestest so he will get it regardless.

All the cpu's being sold in the years prior to the Ryzen launch lead me to believe that AMD fans will do the same thing, buy it no matter what.

I wonder whether they had this already, but didn't want to lose Intel support... But now that AMD is making strides, they decided to risk it, since AMD is doing really well now.

well my socket 754 was supreme budget, board ram and cpu cost as much as a q6600 at the time. I didnt have any less fun playing cs source either.

Isn't this just like the old "multi-core enhancement" feature? All they are doing is setting the TDP higher so the CPU is always in turbo, right? What is new? My Haswell machine has this.

You make it seem as though there might be more than one reason to choose a cpu.
