More like a 6 month notice right? Something may have happened but if it was bad then he wouldn't stay for that long IMO.

This is something we won't find out until 2-3 years later if Keller has done enough changes at Intel. I don't think Keller would be willing to take a role of consultant to ease the transition if he was forced to resign on bad faith. Until then, it is nothing more than an assumption. Resigning for personal reasons can mean a lot of things, including health.

I think health or family thing is most likely. Agreed if there was some real problem he wouldn’t be kept around to consult.

Nah its wannabeocer.

In his eyes. Intel is done and set and there is 70000% IPC increase at 7ghz. He Can't wait to spam hardware news section with intel victory news stories.

Instantly assumes this is good news is his blind shill blinders on.

someone's gotta talk intel's stock back up.

if you notice, business news comes to tech forums to incorrectly gather "information" for their stock pick articles.

According to certain individuals who post every new Intel PR piece, Jim Keller has designed magnificent, wonderful cores that will produce some varying but gigantic increase in IPC, clock speed, node shrink, or all three every year forever.

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
If you need help:
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.
