While there are AHCI nVME drives they are SSD's in M.2 format, which is why I am talking about SATA and nVME and not AHCI.

Interesting how you think I can't differentiate between the two despite having two SATA and one nVME SSD. I can't find my 250G SSD, otherwise I'd have three SATA drives.

You can't find it because you put it in an nvme slot. Now why don't you learn something here.

And it turned into a Hikvision C2000 E12 drive, it was a miraculous insertion.

There's no such thing as an "AHCI NVMe drive." It's either AHCI or NVMe. Now I see why you don't appear to know what you're talking about. Because you actually don't.

Reading comprehension, you lack it sorely.

No time, I'm off to the store to buy as many SSD's I can get my hands on so I can miraculously turn them into 1TB drives.

It's impossible to comprehend what you're talking about because you don't know what you're talking about. There's no such thing as an AHCI NVMe SSD. AHCI and NVMe are protocols. Solid state drives are going to be one or the other. It's clear you don't know that so it's hard to take anything else you say seriously.

This. Not sure why this is so hard for people on the enthusiast level to understand, I see it get confused all the time. The M.2 form factor can have SSDs that use the NVMe protocol over the PCIe bus or SSDs that use the AHCI protocol over the SATA bus. It's really not that complicated.
