Ryzen XT CPUs - Launch Day Review! 3900XT, 3800XT, & 3600XT!

AMD is betting high here, recommending the use of an AIO solution with a minimum 280mm radiator or equivalent air cooling to experience these products at their best.

This was already posted in news but only with a YouTube video. Here is an actual article with performance graphs and all the good data. Long story short, there is very little difference.

Edit: Not sure if Guru3D skipping the overclocking because they expect the results to be unchanged from the non XT or if they just haven't had time to test yet. I assume the latter. Here is another source that has some overclocking results: https://www.kitguru.net/components/c...-cpu-review/3/

Looks like there may be some improvements to overclocking, but nothing huge. 3600XT can OC to 4.6ghz.

There is 4.6Ghz All core OC happening for some reviewers.

We have 2x of 3600XT & 3800XT doing it thus far. 3900XT is struggling more.

Is anyone surprised? Better Zen 2 silicon so it can OC higher, but otherwise nothing to really see and overpriced.

Bring on Zen 3.

pretty much just refined zen 2 silicon. Most likely just to move stock out in way for Zen 3. Nothing to see here. Keep it moving.

I don't think this is refined but cherry picked silicon. Pretty much most of the 3950x can hit 4.6Ghz on one CCD. There are people hitting 4.6Ghz - 4.65Ghz on a 3600x.

AMD specifically stated that it was not binned but refined TSMC 7nm. So unless they are lying......
