It looks pretty cool. I have an older HM with the armrests removed which is really comfy... solved any back issues I'd have from long hours at the computer from my previous crap chair. Picked it up second hand for $400 AUD... don't think I'll upgrade unless it breaks.

I know I don't know anything about chairs, but come on... $1500?

There WILL be a chair out there somewhere that's just as good for your posture, or just as comfortable, etc. with a lower price tag, right?

Everything I own or have used extensively in an alphabetical list. Ask me anything! ^-^

^Probably, but I suspect it mostly boils down to a matter of perspective.

I just spent $1400 on a new Winkbed mattress. While I can't over clock it, I figure if I can spend thousands (if not tens of thousands) on computer parts, a good night's sleep will be well worth it.

A good desk chair can have a similar effect. Right now, the one I have (DXRACER) kinda sux and a new chair is next on my list.

I'll consider something high end like this whenever this dxracer kicks the bucket, i'm just not sure how i will be able to remain a 360 headshot gaming warlord without a gaming chair /s

I have this type of super adjustable engineered comfort chair since 2010. Just from an office brand instead of a "gaming brand".
I still don't get those people who buy those "race chairs" which looks so uncomfortable.
Buy a good high end chair, and it will last you many many years.

Just because it's durable doesn't mean it's good. The ergonomics are absolutely awful. I sat in a DXRacer at PAX South one year and instantly lost interest in that entire style of chair. They're only good if you're going for that "gamer" look. Even still, there's chairs that pull off that look and with ergonomics that don't suck. Get one of those instead of wasting money on a chair your body will hate.
