Think of it this way: More time to save to make your 45nm rigs even more super duper!

Now I not only have to wait to upgrade my GPU but my CPU as well thanks to the lak of speed in AMD/ATi’s products.

Launching the CPUs now will not benefit Intel much in its battle with AMD, while they could cause damage to Intel's 65nm quad-core CPUs,

release new products until AMD is able to present more of a threat.
I take this statement as, until AMD gets higher clocks out, why kill their current line of quad cores that retailers have so much stock of? Also, why release it, then when AMD releases their quad cores in mass quantity and does a huge price cut, why deal with the customers complaining about the price drop.

Eh, this is normal, it h-

wait, I should start something here.

OH MY GOD! THIS IS THE FIRST STEP OF A MONOPOLY!
WITH AMD CLEARLY DYING AND NO LONGER COMPETING WITH INTEL, THE EVIL EVIL INTEL, NOW THEY WILL MAKE DELAYS AND RAISE PRICES BY JANUARY 3RD 2008!

CURSE YOU INTEL! HOW QUICKLY YOU MOVE IN FOR THE KILL!

WITH NO AMD BARRIERS TO PROTECT US FROM THE DREMORA'S PRICES, WE ARE DOOMED FOREVER! WE NEED A HERO!

Pros: I loaded up Bioshock and maxed out the settings, but this graphics slit the game's throat then ate it's entrails for dessert. It slammed Assassin's Creed's head onto the curb then stomped its head into that curb until it was nothing but a bloody pulp. This card is one bad mo-fo. It'll backhand your sister and degrade your mom, but they will still love it and want to date it because it is just that good. I love this card so much that I burned my tongue trying to french kiss it, and I still keep trying.

Probably trying to get rid of the 65nm quads first. Don't want to release the 45nm and get no sales off the old quads.

Kind of disappointing... but releasing them would be pointless for Intel. AMD has nothing... so why would they?

Gah!! First the new Nvidia cards aren't out until, what...February? And now this!!

This lack of competition from AMD is really messing up my build plans.

ZOMG Son of a [email protected](!&!!!!! I was planning on replacing this old POS with a new Quad in Jan also... I've got everything planned and money in the bank... Geesh FEB? MARCH?! Greed people, get used to it. Anyone defending intel that doesn't hold a major stock percentage has ZERO reason to be justifying these actions. YOU personally will see ZERO financial benefit from it, and thus defending them on the basis of "Well it's good business, they're rich b/c xyz-efghijk" need to realize = YOU ARE NOT "INTEL," you are the CONSUMER. And what's good for INTEL = making as much profit as possible by producing as LITTLE as possible = NOT good for US/YOU the *drum roll* CONSUMER. lmao, what is wrong with these corp defenders on the OUTSIDE of the fortress, what you think they'll let you in for being a cheerleader? lol Great... Feb it is $INTEL$
