Is HBCC a hinderence with say the Frontier Edition Cards? Current rig has 16 GB of ram.

I have a R9 Fury on my other rig figured I'd just use it fir encoding tasks since it's 32 cores 128gb of ecc ddr3 ram.

Yes but no need for DDU, I've used AMD uninstaller for the past 2 years without any problems, now it even boots itself into safe mode does the same as DDU. I do run ccleaner to clean up the registry then reinstall AMD drivers. I also unplug my ethernet so that bitdefender and windows dont try to install their own drivers or wtv. Haven't had a single issue doing it this way, only reason i unplug my ethernet is because bitdefender use to block the AMD install and thats the fix i found.

I've been using these drivers for a while and have noticed higher temps. Ran HWINFO64 and for some reason the fans never went above 45% when they should have gone to 90% or so according to the fan profile I set in Trixx.


I use Trixx because wattman has a mind of its own and it is a Sapphire Vega64.

How you do you make trixx software override wattman? Iv tried in trixx no settings actually work iv had GPU oced to max slider did nothing.
