[Phoronix] GreenWithEnvy 0.11 Released For More Overclocking Potential Of NVIDIA GPUs On Linux

Quote:
GreenWithEnvy depends upon the proprietary NVIDIA Linux driver as well as the CoolBits extension for doing the actual overclocking, but allows overclockers to make more informed choices thanks to historical charts of the thermal/power/clock data and other information not otherwise readily exposed from Linux GUI utilities for NVIDIA graphics processors. GreenWithEnvy also allows manipulating the fan curve and more.

Have they fixed the GPU drivers for Linux? Iv not tried in a few months but my titans refuse to run the proper drivers on Linux. Every time I switch em out for the latest Nvidia drivers they black screen or refuse to accept the password at login on Ubuntu 18.04-18.10

Haven't had an issue with the nVidia drivers lately. Are you using the run file from their site or the PPA? I suggest using the PPA if you're using the run file.

I would only use PPA or .run to get the very latest drivers. I usually stick with the latest stable drivers in the distro repository and they just work.
