I'm quite happy that it natively supports triple monitor setups. That doesn't happen much anymore. Going pretty smoothly on my setup in the sig at mostly ultra settings, turned down some of the shadows, but not sure of the FPS. I'll try the benchmark and see. Had to lower my OC, I guess it wasn't as stable as I thought.

Is anyone hoping for a texture detail boost in a patch or dlc? I'm not saying it needs one, I haven't even downloaded or played it yet but of course I may any day now. I'm still checking out the landscapes in Metro Exodus in its Extreme graphics mode. So there's an example of a game in maxed gfx looking better than medium gfx settings. With a big hit to fps (

If there isn't really much difference between medium and maxed graphics in Division 2 then fine, I can get more fps in medium when I start playing it.

Seems about in line with what I'm getting on my 8700k at 5 GHz and a 2080TI at around 2040 core and 8100 mem. I switch between my tv and my 1440p monitor and at 4k everything maxed I have yet to see it drop below 60fps

This makes me want to buy a 2080ti . Only close to tripple my 980Ti on 1440p lol

You're taking quite a few liberties making that assumption about me, but I won't hold it against you. We're on OCN, after all. I get criticized here for trying to be reasonable and make no leaps beyond what can be observed or tested.

The people trying to get from A to B, when talking about graphics cards, are buying 2060's and 2070's, not 2080ti's. If someone is telling you otherwise, they're obviously acting poorer than they really are.
You can get from point a to point b in a Yugo or a Porsche, neither one gets optimized for most users.

Sure thing, but what does that really say about 2080ti owners "getting shafted"?

Does that concept even exist for the owners themselves or is that just a talking point for people who don't like the price increases for flagships?

I must say, even though my average fps was 43fps the lowest it actually dipped to during the bench was 38fps and it was brief. I'm impressed with the 1% lows DX12 offered. Ironically, running DX11 saw my avg fps in the benchmark go down to 37fps.

Also..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekZQcGK3Prw

Very helpful if you want to squeeze extra performance. Around the 16:00 minute mark has a list of recommended settings.

Yup, they did a great job on optimizing settings here. Very little if any visible difference I can tell yet I went from 43fps avg to 53fps avg at 4k using their "HUB Quality" list.
That's odd. When I drop Object Detail from 100 to 40, I gain 15+ FPS despite being on a 8GB VRAM GPU with only 5GB in use.

Also, if I stand still and wave the mouse around, the FPS can drop as low as 30! Doesn't matter what setting I change.

Maybe we should be paying more attention to GDC:

https://schedule.gdconf.com/session/...-nvidia/865256

Now let's see when they actually deliver the update to the game.
