I wonder how much it would cost per month for something twice that fast on all counts? And latency can get frustrating enough in boss fights that you are willing to sacrifice quality to lessen it.
Would require custom GPU's that are slightly better than anything on the market right now (Vega 56 runs around 2/3rd's the speed of a 2080ti on most titles) so I would imagine at least 10x price increase to double the GPU output.
It looks like most people are just rolling their eyes at this, me included. Good for AMD though. Unless the latency is not an issue (which will probably never be the case), this is just OnLive all over again.
I'm excited, this could change things in gaming. The thought of Google going to a developer and saying "make a game that runs on 10 Stadia instances, that no PC will be able to run in the next 5 years" has me excited for the possibilities. Of course it would be exclusive to Stadia, but I would pay to try that. Could be a boon for VR as well, each headset would just need a decent network adapter.
