Good to see they aren't going with physx this time.
Agree. I hated having to have an Nvidia card to enjoy all "features" of Borderlands 2.
I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?
just hoping that if its an epic exclusive they do the right thing and develop a complete game and not try to sell the game in parts like 1. never played much of the second game, the excess geometry on so many of the guns (magazines on the sides of a cylinder fed gun etc)kinda irked me. i do have the collection though i may load them up in vorpx and give em a go again.
i mean, it's a BL title... Since when have they EVER been hard to run? -physX.
I found both titles to be CPU limited in certain areas which had a high number of draw calls due to the AI and LOD scale and quality. Hopefully with AMD involved, we'll have good CPU usage, as this is a focus of AMD's.
I'm pleased we won't have Nvidia's programmed black boxes implemented. The same features can be implemented via the game engine and/or the API, resulting in no quality loss, significantly better performance, both for AMD and Nvidia.
