I've tried BO4 and I cannot tell if it's working or not. However, the loading screen that pans the map you about to load into is a lot smoother now. OSD still shows fluctuation in frame rates as it loads but the screen is smoother still.

I do melt a few but not 100% sure yet, still testing. However, we need something that actually show's the difference while playing is the best I can say. It actually might be working but there is no way to tell as there is no OSD indicator at this time. Perhaps RTG will implement something in the future.

Without a photo sensor we don't have a way to accurately test input lag. They won't be able to provide an OSD that can read input lag.

This seems like the kind of thing Battle(non)sense would test ASAP.

Hey, you pitch this to communities wherein people claim they feel the sub-5ms differences between monitors and mice and you got yourself a new market. Somewhere, someone is saying "this made the game actually playable!" as we speak.

It's definitely not a bad marketing idea, right before a new release of products with many being gamers (who naturally want the competitive edge). I'm sure the possibility that the undetectable 3ms input lag improvement might help them get the kill is toying with their brains.

I'm sure any improvements are much more detectable at higher resolutions, AMD's input lag improvement statistics (with the driver notes) used 4k as the measure.

I'm guessing you could do A-B testing and people wouldn't know the difference, and lets do monitor refresh rates while we're at it.

I tried anti lag in The Sinking City just as a quick test and I can't tell any difference.

So it may be noticeable when lowering your refresh rate down to 60hz. I doubt many people would lower their refresh rate if you can't tell the difference when its higher. Especially since the holy grail of gaming is 144hz even though most people probably can't tell the difference between refresh rates once refresh rates reach 100hz.
