Ok so with my video card I must have the exact same issue as the article with a 590 or I'm shilling? You see how crazy that sounds. This is nothing more than a hit piece.

Even if it's true that a 590 is having a problem with this driver AMD will certainly fix it. This kind of generic issue has happened before between both companies and has been fixed between both companies. Therefore, the sky isn't falling chicken little.

So after all those jokes about new Nvidia drivers making their old cards slower (which was proven false) AMD actually released drivers that made their old cards slower?! That is not good!

I am sure they will fix it but it shows that their driver team is too rushed.

Whatever change they made to speed up RDNA was probably gone in comparison to Vega and Turing. I do not think they care about Polaris perf comparison at this point. They will probably flag the change for Polaris and all will be good.

Folks be mindful here. Anytime AMD is about to be competitive or beat Nvidia in performance we have gotten these "AMD Drivers suck circulations". It never fails (be it partly true or not at all).
This really tells me that BIG NAVI is beating a 2080ti as rumor suggests. Furthermore, AMD is rumored to be pushing ahead (sometime in 2019) with it's release, thus these "articles".
Sometimes these forums just make me think our species should nuke ourselves from orbit and let nature try again.

We're a few post deep and so far we have:

• some inane comment about Microsoft, obviously with the name cleverly transformed;
• accusations of shilling;
• accusations of those accusing of shilling of shilling;
• one hypothesis that AMD's (largely historic) driver issues are actually part of a wider conspiracy by the NV illuminati;
• further hypotheses postulating that both AMD and NV are intentionally degrading performance on older cards.

Never change, overclock.net. Never change.

idk, been running green cards for awhile and i know to skip the first few "new gen" drivers.

and isn't spoiled grape juice vinegar?
