If anti-lag is disabled then there must be some other reason for the "up to" 10% performance reduction on GCN.

Intel Core i9 9900K HT 5GHz
GIGABYTE Z390 Ultra
AMD ASUS STRIX OC VEGA 64
G-Skill Trident 2x8GB DDR4 4000MHz
Samsung EVO NVM.e 250GB
SeaSonic 1250W Gold
Corsair 900D + Custom Loop.

I made the question because I dont know if one could write a script to port the anti lag functionality (or use radeon pro) to avoid the 19.7.2/.1 drivers meanwhile there is a performance penalty so people could have anti lag and better performance from the older drivers

I've been using 19.7.1 drivers for sometime now and haven't experienced any abnormal performance loss.

I play the same set of games.
I update to 19.7.1 and play the same set of games again.
The OSD reports the same frame rates. No "formality" needed.
