His gpu score is 1,277 points higher than my Vega 64 @ 1662/1100 (realistically core sits around 1630mhz during extended benchs & gaming)
Best I could do with Vega 64 LC was ~ 8.7K. With 5700 XT with only 900MHz on memory, I did 9.7K.
I was referring to the GPU score. My Radeon VII scores a bit over 10400. Never got a chance to test Time Spy on my Vega 64 LC but my FireStrike GPU score was a bit above 29300.

Curious as to the clocks your V64 LC was running? Did another run with it around 1645-1650mhz core during the run and 1115 on the hbm2 and gained a whopping 10 points to the gpu score. Cooling is not an issue, gpu didn't even hit 65*c during any of the runs and p/l is set to max.

I did a ddu clean with new drivers and fan profile issue is gone now. 2150 at stock volts target is peak performance for me at stock volts.

Going to pair it with a 3600 or 3600x this weekend. First AMD only build in a long time.

i wonder you have an air cooler which is reference model? so how do you hold that clock speed? I guess you get lower clocks than you set in drivers/AB?or you play certain games and you hold those clocks? because even my vega 56 without using any power tables mod it cant hold the frequency I overclock to

Typically it's 30mhz less that whatever is set. For TimeSpy I set it to 1677 in Wattman and it held those clocks. Keep in mind, this is with my house temp at 70*F, and the blower fan running 90%. For long term gaming I drop the clocks to 1662-1667 and hold about 1630mhz hours on end. I also use headphones which makes the reference cooler far more tolerable at 50% or higher speeds.

maybe my 2600k is causing a bottleneck and hence the lower clock speed? or maybe metro exodus is more cpu limited? in non ref model I get up to 100-70mhz lower clocks and a reference gets 200mhz lower clocks, where I live temperatures are between 20-27c(-1 to +7 degrees more than where you live) but I mean the problem seems to be something else

What volts are you running? Also, max vs target temp? I'm running a UV at 1125mv for p7 (1667mhz) and 1105mv for p6 (1607mhz) with a temp target of 69°c w/ max at 85°c. P/L is at +50%. Sapphire reference gpu.

***One thing to note, I'm still on the 18.9.3 driver which keeps my clocks far more stable than these newer ones. It's not that my overclock is worse on these new drivers, but the mhz is a lot less consistent. I peak at higher mhz but it also fluctuates a lot more too. Performance is similar in game, but I prefer the more stable clocks vs hitting 1670mhz one moment and going under 1600mhz a few seconds later to being back at 1650 a second after that.

Any of you running the LC bios? My card held 1750Mhz/1105Mhz with 1.90V with a +1.5% on the core clock when I had it in my system.

-100mV in my powercolor is around 1115 to 1125 in the reference i dont recall i would need to find out, target temp on the Vega 56 ref cooler 75c and in the powercolor i dont see anything on drivers but should be the same limit but it never reaches the target temp since I have a cusomt fan curve..

now I wonder if this is due to the driver because I am using 19.7.2 and then I noticed this(non stable clock speed) aswell with 19.3.1

I wonder if you could share the file for the driver setting so i could use them on my card to see if the clock speed stays more stable?
