I'll give Green this. They're marketing is on another level. Sell to the streamers/influencers and they sell your cards for you. Remember when Nintendo would copyright strike youtubers for streaming their games a while back? Now anyone can do it without restrictions. I wonder why the change of heart? You can't beat free marketing baby.

OBS will be able to do all of this in the future. If you read the article nVidia partnered with OBS.

Nvidia also partnered with Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) to make RTX Greenscreen available to all of the popular streaming app's users. The company plans to show off the green screen feature at TwitchCon 2019 and said it will debut in "the coming months." It's not yet clear when the other SDKs revealed alongside RTX Broadcast Engine--the aptly named RTX AR and RTX Style Filters--will be released to the public.

Horribly like I mentioned earlier with a ton of artifacts just like every chroma keying software. Even Intel's Realsense is garbage with their $200 camera. I'm sure AMD will copy soon since they've been working on stuff with DirectML. Just like how their working on upscaling with DirectML to compete with DLSS.

AMD doesn't need to copy anything with their over the top powerful processors, that you can get for cheap, which can do this in real time without much fus - And at better quality as well. Besides, DLSS and upscaling is completely and utterly useless when streaming. Nobody streams at 4k. So it's laughable at best what nvidia is announcing.

Not with an AMD card, you don't; nor any form of officially supported raytracing. But it's the the virtual green screen that's bothering you, I guess.
