These days that's not a lot of time in-game at all. I played ONE playthrough of The Witcher 3 (including some but not all DLC) and spent 155 hours in-game.

Can you install Android apps on the shield or is it locked down?

nope. it's an android TV built on nvidia jetson I think its called.

i've never looked into any sorta custom stuff though. They're more popular than you'd think. Likely because its the only common hardware solution for streaming 4K60HDR from PC>>another device in the home. Steam sync and Moonlight do a decent job, specially if you have a nice new NV GPU but shield still wins out in image quality & user experience. It also has PLEX

Sounds like you are new to RPG's. They take a while to complete and I am loving every second of it. Imagine paying 60 bucks for a game that is over in 6 hours.

i thought it was a strange comment too. I flipped through my steam profile, and I have hundreds of hours in fps titles too. /shrug guess they don't pew pew with some of their free time.

if you do some math, it doesn't take long to rack up hours, even with conservative use. My current steam profile is only 10 years old old too.
