Does it have any features for Quadro drivers?

Great, I could use not having to delete the DisplayDriverRAS plugin everytime I update the drivers to stop the driver from attempting to phone home even though I don't install GFE.

I'll give it a go tomorrow, curious if it'll fix my "no compatible hardware found" issues I've had.

Ever since ~416.94 if I download the driver manually and try to install it'll never recognize my GPU, I have to install GFE and download/update the new driver from within GFE and then I can remove GFE afterwards.

Thought it was a Pook-only issue for a while but apparently other people have that problem too.

That's a last resort thing, which is not as efficient. In the case of Nvidia drivers you can prevent it from reaching that point by deleting the DisplayDriverRAS plugin (at least on Windows 7, no clue on how Windows 10 drivers work).

Don't really see the point in this other than for paranoid to disable telemetry and phoning home, hoping it won't break something by not having said components now or later.
I can already not install GFE via regular driver installer and from the rest what would I disable, telemetry, ok, hmmm that's about it, the rest are drivers or important components.

At least it's not like older Windows slimmers where you had to reinstall OS to get a component back you removed and found out years later you need it... reinstalling a driver is much simpler.

Well, what can I say, I like being able to have full control over what the software does and especially when it tries to do stuff behind the users' back. Your language is akin to Microsoft's fearmongering language in Windows 10 that turning the telemetry from "Full" (or the now removed "Enhanced") to "Basic" might make some programs stop working properly. Yeah, just send full crash dumps including open user documents over to Microsoft, that's the way...

I didn't mount a quadro drive, so idk... seems likely though.

you mount the driver, then get the selection screen, then install.

Jacky,

once you run this tool, and just install the driver, you're right

i've been using their stripped drivers for years. Why? I switched to them in a fit of despair, trying to troubleshoot stutter.

Wouldn't that break GFE though?
