[CryEngine] Ray Tracing for Everyone: Neon Noir benchmark tool released

Quote:
Can it run ray tracing? Check out how CRYENGINE’s new ray tracing technology will run on your rig with our free benchmark software.

We are delighted to share the news that we have released ‘Neon Noir,’ a free ray tracing benchmark based on the ray tracing demo of the same name, which was made available as a video during GDC 2019. The benchmark can be downloaded from the CRYENGINE Marketplace, and it will give you a score based on how your system performs rendering scenes produced by CRYENGINE’s upcoming ray tracing feature in real-time.

The benchmark will give a score on almost any hardware system configuration, with the power of the system reflected in the benchmark’s performance, as with any benchmark software. However, for the smoothest experience, we recommend the following minimum specifications:
Recommended Minimum Specs for the Neon Noir Benchmark:

AMD Ryzen 5 2500X CPU/Core i7-8700
AMD Vega 56 8 GB VRAM/Nvidia GTX 1070 8 GB VRAM
16 GB System Ram
Win 10 x64
DX11

Here's my Radeon VII results at completely stock settings(Not undervolted or a change in power target). Along with my overclocked results at 2100Mhz/1250Mhz, both at 1080p and 1440p. My machine is running Windows 10 1909 with the latest updates and spectre patches running.

D/ling now. Will compare to my brothers 4790k setup with a 1080ti vs my V64.

Edit:

All runs, 1615 core *min clocks during run* 1075mhz HBM2 - Reference Sapphire Vega 64

In order, 1080p > 1440p > 4k. All max settings in the bench and no sneaky settings in the GPU profile. In fact texture quality is set to best quality as I always keep it.

What a monster! Curious if CryTek will add an option to toggle RT core use. Crytek mentioned that once RTX support is implemented on the Neon Noir demo, the visuals can be boosted even further.

1080 ultra not bad . .44 was the 99th pretty much 55ish/77 max. i could almost game w/that, depending . .

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.
Upload the computer to Dropbox and provide a link to it so others may download it to examine and give advice for repairs.
