Does not even matter i located the game executable.
I can't recreate your other issues, but I also have Witcher 3 from GOG. I just tried it with the newest drivers, and launching it through Radeon Settings works for me. It may be a problem with VII's, but it could be a problem with your install.

just blame it on the RVII, was the biggest mistake purchase ive ever made

dude sell it on ebay think it still sells for more then a 2080

Just got myself a XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra card for a good price. I'm getting weird signal cut outs and sometimes a white horizontal line across the screen rarely. Will look to replace the cable first to eliminate any easy issues. "Upgraded" from a GTX 1080. Here's to hoping their end of the year driver fixes a lot.
