Not sure about BF4 but for BFV i have read post of people finally being able to run bf5 for a long time without crashing.

I have always had BF5 issues. Had it with 1080 Ti, Vega 64, Vega FE. The only way to not crash was run everything at stock CPU/RAM/GPU. This was 1 year ago. I have not played it since.

Yes sir everything is set to stock when i play. The 19.11.2 drivers i can oc mem, cpu, and graphics card still stable as a rock. I may throw my 1080 in to see if it does the same.

I've found that every time I was able to roll back drivers I had issues with the new ones. What tipped me off to this was that after 3-4 months I could never get the new drivers to work right (odd issues with the software itself, issues in games, etc). It was when I finally used AMD stand alone uninstaller (back then you have to go to their website and download it...now it's in the driver install founder AMD\driver version\Bin64) things started to work right.

Exactly the way i tried the first time, second time ddu and amd uninstaller, third time stuck in spare nvme fresh windows fresh driver install. The drivers are still broke for bfv and screen flicker.

I just played 2 matches of BFV using 20.2.2 just to see what happened and didn't have any issues.

Only the game crashes or you get a black screen?
