not really - folks use win7 to hide from the bigtech boogieman that you pretty much can't actually hide from unless you move to the woods and leave all modern tech back in the burbs/city.

LTSC users accept this existence, but try to limit it as much as possible without castrating themselves.

I was thinking of switching to LTSC. But I have like 50 unused pro licenses. Not sure what I would do with those.

It is so worth it. LTSC has 100% replaced anything else as my go to OS. I'd even go so far as to say it's better than Win 7 ever was but I know I'd be quoted to death if I did say that, so I won't.

its much smoother, but xbox nonsense showed up after the last forced update.

might have to move to whatever the modern server install is.

I took the middle ground. I've been on Windows 8.1 since 2012. It works fine, it is still officially supported (unlike 7), and doesn't have as many things to disable as 10.

I don't have that XBox tripe on my LTSC. What on earth is the point of having XBox gaming in LTSC? M$py claim that LTSC is meant for critical machines such as heart rate monitors. I can see the doctors and nurses playing Halo or COD on the machines while the patient is dying.

Though, the patient might say: FIX DAT SCOOP!

Edit: I see what you mean, the XBox nonsense is hidden under settings. I really hope Magix port Vegas to Linux. I can't use Kdenlive, it's really painful.

Is LTSC 1909-able? I wasn't really a fan of versions before 1903.

Looks like LTSC is 1809 like server 2019.
