Sad.

Can't wait to find out what the AI decides needs clearing up and what controls nVidia will give you, because that's going to be the thing. Will it filter out you smacking your desk? What if it was done for effect and you don't want it to? Will it filter out dog barking that is sudden with no chance to adapt? Will it be capable of filtering out the previously mentioned sounds while you are speaking?

The best solution remains to actually have a good audio setup and a properly sound deadened room. I would rather sound bad and have someone ask me to repeat what I said than have an AI guess in more extreme situations.

There won't be a performance hit on a job this easy, even high end audio is barely measured in mbits.

There will be a noticeable latency hit that you can replicate by "listening" to the audio device; more echo from yourself speaking, the worse the latency is, and you can consider any artifacting and so forth to be errors as well.
lol...

I did radio Disney from like 8-13, so stuff gets weird for me if I can't hear myself in real time. Which is also why I don't use USB mic/cans/speakers.

either way - seems like a decent tool for people like me. 40+ case fans, ceiling fan, floor fan.

this reminds me... Why hasn't Adobe upgraded their OCR into an AIOCR? whoever does that first is gonna take a big chunk of adobe's commercial users.

Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

Same reason you are complaining about Nvidia, ironically. They dont have any challengers that are forcing them to because their customers are leaving.

Adobe is a TERRIBLE company.
I wouldn't really say i'm complaining, mostly poking fun. NVIDIA is part of my retirement. just wait until the Molly merger is truly reflected in their stock. best part is that NV's WW3 proof too

AMD's not even close to keeping up, and hasn't been in ages. They picked intel to trade blows with first for whatever reason. n who can complain? $2 to closing on $60 in a few years = good times for anyone that was holding.

just a reminder, these would've been people buying AMD stock as forums & social media were decrying the death of AMD.

This is pretty slick.
We built an addition to the house for a office since all our extra bedrooms are taken up by my daughter and newborn and in that addition we have a window unit since its not part of the central HVAC and with this thing turned on you don't hear the window unit at all.

Will be super useful on days when I'm working at home....gaming/discord i really didn't care about the background noise but i guess its a gain there as well.

EDIT:
meant to add that it looks like the GPU usage is anywhere from 3-6% when this is processing audio.

Currently Playing: RDR2, FM7, BL3, Escape from Tarkov
Nostromo

Adobe is a TERRIBLE company.
All they need is a bit of basklash just like AMD received when they didn't at first support their other cards with RIS.

i suppose...

kinda seems like NV's gaming segment matters less to them by the day.

Why would you compare companies based on conditions completely outside their sphere of influence. A company can work great with a market cap if $nil and still be valued at billions (Steam). Comparing companies based on market cap is like comparing which fruit tastes good based on how round it is. Market cap only works if your portfolio has those companies and you are in a peen measuring contest with fellow investors.

#2 their debt is insane, even for a "diverse field" company. They cannot even afford to service the debt maintenance let alone make an actual dent in the debt itself. - Internet Stranger

So, a certain kind of banana is the most delicious fruit.

I've used it with Skype and Teams. It's pretty amazing.
Used it on a RTX 2080 and a Quadro T1000
