And 0.1 - 0.3 second doesn't really matter when I open any web page.
And I prefer more security and more free RAM.
Etc.

At all I use Edge rare, but I do not want any chrome/chromium based browser on my PC.
Just because it's using Blink doesn't mean it's reporting to Google. I prefer ungoogled-chromium others use Brave.

I'm excited to use the new Edge. Currently traveling for work so I can't use it yet. I heard it retains compatability with IE sites, which is excellent. Working with a lot of government websites that don't play well on other browsers, this sounds excellent.

I've seen no traffic going to Google servers.

They may have ungoogled the chromium version they are using for Edge, they probably removed the google spying and replaced it with Microsoft spying.

I had to tend to a computer last week. Had to add web site shortcuts to open in chrome (no default, with exe file) and saw chrome still messes with desktop icons automatically. Icons move around on their own, rearrange themselves in pairs, etc. Yuck.

This cat scratches free.

This brand new Edge version on Windows10 build 1909 is by far the fastest browser I have ever used. I tried Edge before and lasted about 30 minutes before it never got opened again. I mean there are no more lags due to loading ads or web content and I have zero ad blockers or even tweaked the default privacy settings. You guys are missing out.

I swear MS has been tanking Chrome performance the last year. Now we know why. You need to try it though, they have gotten it right it seems.

Hi,
Installed chredge yesterday seems okay got ublock origin installed...
Issue ms didn't bother to fix ctrl+t to open a new and switch to as soon as you do so no joy there it still opens behind the original tab so that sucks.

Otherwise keep favorites bar in view looks like a regular browser.
Still will use firefox until they fix the stupid ctrl+t deal that is really annoying and ms ie11 and I believe old edge didn't do that silly stuff.

Freshly installed browsers always open fastest web pages than the same browser after 1-3 weeks.
____
Google ads links are in my host file and browsers cache is on Ramdisk. This is enough to make my IE + IceDragon in private browsing with maximum restrictions to open fast, to not load 90% of ads, and to work clean and effectively without any other software except Bleachbit (win cleaner).

So thanks to Google and everyone that use them for advertising
