Definitely. My ADHD diagnosis cost me more than my last two cars combined though. In the end I paid roughly $2500 out of pocket above and beyond what insurance covered. If nothing else the high cost these days is going to act as a deterrent so you have to be really invested into wanting those scripts.

And now I've stopped taking the adderall; it's just too nasty of a thing to put into your body. Funny, that.

its an incredibly destructive substance if taken for long periods of time, without break, years on end, as doctors prescribe it to children, and young adults. N generics are plenty cheap down here, you just might have to get on one of the less happy branches. ritilin or ****, imo. it was the least nasty of the ones I was forced to take as a kid. Vivance was the most disgusting.

harder to kick and recover from than heroin, cuz it leaves you utterly zapped, exhausted, and perpetually hungry due to years of starving the body of proper nutrients due to extreme apetite suppression. it utterly destroyed my ex's sanity. she partook in legal dosing from her doctors for over a decade. she's as brain dead as any genuine meth addict, it just took longer because its pharmy grade clean

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

Back from the dead! I can't help dance around this grave as well, it's not every day that someone necros a drug testing thread containing a discussion that's attempting to determine a single cause for a Civil War.

Concerning the original necro. Shouldn't a professional "athlete" know the drug testing policies of the sanctioning body they play for? I can understand amateurs not knowing, but it seems like you would have to have been tested before becoming a professional.

I've been on it for a really long time now too. Next month though, I'm about to start a slow ween down process (10 mg decrease in dosage every 3 months) from my current 60mg daily dosage.

The instant release variants are the worst in my opinion as the extreme yo-yo effect happening on a daily basis just ruins your body especially due to dehydration. Extended release though is much more consistent and allows you to keep your appetite, maintain a reasonable sleep schedule, etc. etc.

The "brain dead" part isn't really true though. It's more of that's the way the person always was. ADD has this misconception about it that ADD people just kind of brain fart from one task to the other. In reality, we get so bored with a mundane task that we literally look for anything else to do to get away from the monotony, even if it's just going to sleep. Our brains are still moving just as fast as they are on adderal when we aren't on it, we are just so bored with talking to people, watching a TV show that doesn't completely suck us in, that we can appear to just be brain dead due to completely ignoring the thing that is boring us.
