Might have more hype here when it's released on pc.

I'm picking up a ps4 pro bundle that comes with this game though I'm more interested in "Days Gone" when it releases then playing Red Dead on ps4.

I think that is third person? It looks like over the shoulder.

EDIT: Oh I see, you can switch between the two. Neat.

Watched the vid to see what the hype is about. Heard first person and I instantly got excited. Looks like it's gonna be a really good game.

A little hyped here, something that I haven't felt in many years. Still won't buy a current gen console just for it, nor will I ever pay full price on it.

RDR is good and doesn't suffer from the curse that always afflicted the GTA series: very, very bad game design.

Other than that, we really need more wild west games. There's nothing else out there in this theme that interests me, other than Gun, Call of Juarez 1 and Bound in Blood, which are amazing games.

Could you elaborate on what constitutes factually bad game design?

First person is always my preferred mode, but if it's as wonky as GTA V's, I think I'll stick to third.

I can't wait for them to announce the PC version so I can buy it 5-7 months after the console release.

Not many open world first person shooters get near this much money and development time, this is going to be good.
Like Far Cry is going to look like a joke hollow shell of a game in comparison

Until Cyberpunk 2077 there probably won't be anything more immersive

I bought an Xbox One X just for this game. Couldn't wait for the PC version - they haven't even announced it - since the PC version of GTA V was delayed by 18 months, I'm not waiting that long to play this. RDR was one of the best games ever; probably the last game I played on the Xbox 360 (other than GTA V).

If they do bring this out on the PC (I'm really hoping they do), it will be one of the greatest games of all time. Those panoramic views in the trailers look so amazing - imagine that in 8K!

I like open world games but for some reason, this game just does not do it for me. Maybe I have to play it and see how it goes. Will wait for PC versions.
