They got one thing wrong. Recommended for DXR should be 2080 Ti and 2070 should be minimum.

RT bench will be more interesting than the actual game. Depending on the numbers it should be a good firestorm. Many gamers wished BFV to be delayed till march due to so much post launch content. I'm assuming if RT recommendations released, we're gonna see RT at launch.

If ray tracing based games start to require more than 4C/8T CPUs, and AMD is likely to add ray tracing capabilities to their GPUs sometime soon, then that Ryzen 2600 deal for $160 starts to make even more sense. 4C/8T CPUs are on their way out for high-end gaming.

Very steep pc requirements for RT. Nvidia inadvertently helping amd cpu dept. here with their high core requirements. Plebs need not apply for early RT bells & whistles.

What baffles me is why are they asking for a 8/16 AMD CPU but only a 6/12 Intel CPU for DXR while it is a 4/4 AMD CPU and 4/8 Intel CPU in the recommended specs.

Anyway, welcome to the new paradigm where you have to dish out $500+ for a GPU to play at sub 60 FPS 1080p. What is this? 2008 again? If so, I want my youth back.

Why is an i5-6600k a minimum spec, and the ryzen 1300x is a recommended spec lol... devs only take like 2 seconds to make these lists I swear lol.

Well..... no.
$250 for an RX 580 or GTX 1060 and you will be able to run this at a steady 1080p 60fps.

If you want to use the new gimmick, then you'll need to spend alot more than $500 on a GPU.

haha, this reminds me of the old PhysX hype in it's early years.

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

Is there really any hype for ray tracing? Seems like most people see it for the gimmick it is. First thing that came to mind with ray tracing killing performance at 1080p was physx.
