I was just wondering if the instant hate people seem to have for the game without even playing it was because of the women.
The business model for the game is different from the previous games but it seems like it was changed for the better. At least with BFV the people who don't have premier can still play on the new maps, they just won't get the other extras that come with the expansions... unless I am mistaken on how it will work.
I think the problem people have with BFV is:
- It's popular to ridicule anything under EA's umbrella.
- BF has evolved over the years to include aspects of other games that are popular instead of concentrating on what made BF popular.
I don't think people hate BFV for having women specifically, but because it has joined the recent trend of using video games to push social/political agendas.
I'm waiting for the deluxe edition to be less than $30, or for something better to come along, which ever comes first.
