I played most of the popular games. I just did not like PUBG and Fortnite is on another level. These games fall in the same category for me as mobile games which I keep far away. What is wrong with being a bit Elite? Everyone plays games these days. There are still those that play games that are not as popular for various reasons.

It's OK I am too. I only 100% play single-player experiences on PC only. I guess I just don't like playing with other people. I play PC games to relax...not to work up a sweat, anxiety, adrenaline, and/or stress which is mostly what I experience when I used to play with other people (kids).

This is a bad omen and represents the worst of what's to come. These companies are seeing what kind of green they can make with little effort. Has the dumbing down of gaming plateaued? Not on your life!

Many have warned against the blatant dumbing down of gaming in order to reach the uncritical/superficial masses and hey I can't blame them if the gaming companies have sold out and have no more self respect in order to squeeze out the last lemming from his money.

Our favorite companies were bought and killed by big publishers when they failed to sell proven concepts based on the publishers new (dumbed down) visions. Now they are also taking what is left of our favorite games and turning them into mobile Chinese games. The only concepts these publishers have brought to the scene is how to butcher a complete game into itty bitty piece meals to squeeze out the most profit.

Oh well, will these publishers go down with the sinking ships? I hope so!

Fortnite started out as a really fun game before it got super popular and they started adding so much that you couldn't really get into the game anymore unless you played all the time. Oh well. It's just silly now which is a shame because the simplicity was part of what made it fun. Sadly they listened to all the idiots out there who said to nerf this and that and now you have a game that's influenced by people who would make terrible games where every one wins and no one gets picked on.
Back to Borderlands 2 lol

I didn't like PUBG at all, and I didn't like Fortnite... at first. Somehow I won my first game, thought it was really easy and then just dropped it until a few friends started playing it and I joined in... and now it's really hard

Lots of fun though and I'm impressed with how much content they add, and how they change stuff each season.

Totally not surprised that they're making 3B...
