Original shock came on a bunch of 3.5" floppies and had no voice acting.
Only the enhanced CD version which came later had voice acting. May have also had higher resolution support (still under DOS). Game ran like a potato and a half. If you got more than 20 FPS you were doing good.

I had the enhanced CD version, it also had advanced VESA modes. I seem to remember the performance did get choppy at times.
