I found that odd too. I'm used to all reviews of new gen cards always including the flagship card of the previous gen.

Game looks like it is worth buying. RTX features seem cool but not enough to buy into Turing.

Good review.

Also using Vega 56 and not 64. It does no favor to AMD.

Both lighting methods don't look up to average imo. Why is that oily baby shimmering/glowing? How much weird stuff like that did they toss in there?

You can't defend it. This is purely just devs being paid to deliberately push RTX. this is lazy marketing money grab

RT and DLSS seem good on paper but if forced into games they will suck.

In all fairness, the 56 is likely a reference cooled card. Judging how close it is to a GTX1080 speaks volumes to how well a 64 while properly cooled/undervolted would do in comparison. Considering the whole push for RTX these results actually are more positive for AMD cards than I was expecting.

But yes, really missing a select number of cards that people actually wanted to see... To go from gtx1080 and just skip 1080ti/2080 performance entirely was an odd choice - especially when you throw a gtx960, r9 380 and gtx2080ti in the mix. Then again, if it's what he had on hand, it's what he had on hand..

I wonder if there's a difference in performance using epic or steam launcher.

Definitely a contender for GOTY IMO.

RE2 Remake is fantastic but Exodus is going to be really fun. Can't wait!
