By your logic Samsung has a monopoly because they're the only people making Galaxy phones.
Siding with a specific store could be procompetitive by encouraging others to charge less.
I don't care one way or the other where they sell their game or why, quality of the game will always be what I care about.
exclusives means they have exclusive right to sell the game, no one else can. you cant buy the same game on another platform be it another console or distribution platform.
you can buy galaxy phones from various retailers and not just from samsung directly. samsung are just the developers.
if games are not exclusive this means its available on other distribution platforms and mediums, this would promote competitive pricing between platform where the deciding faction is which store you want to support given that you already wanted to buy the game.
epic being the exclusive distributor inhibits fair distribution of the game and the only way to get it is via epic and they can charge what ever they want and you are forced to swallow any messed up terms and agreements.
